It was incredible because our room looked out over the river Main, was only a fifteen minute walk from the Old City and was within easy access of numerous public transit systems! It was also only 50 Euro a night. Excellent!
It was also literally incredible in the sense that I could not believe we had booked a hotel that shared a building with two active brothels. There were pink, light-up hearts on many of the windows and a twenty-foot tall neon sign of a topless woman smoking a cigar emblazoned on the side of the building - right outside our window, to be precise.
In the hallway just outside our room was a bulletin board suggesting that we "Get Laid Downstairs," and the decor of the hotel proper was, well, you can see for yourself:

We were only there for one night, but my... what a surprise.
